Triggering
ArcDroid fires the torch through a simple two-wire contact, like the trigger. On cutters with a CNC port, a dedicated cable does the job; on the others, it connects to the torch trigger.
Compatibility
ArcDroid drives most plasma cutters on the market. One exclusion only: high-frequency start.
CPC · CNC45 A · 12 mmCompatibility
ArcDroid works with dozens of plasma cutters, with or without a CNC port. One condition only: a non-high-frequency start (pilot arc or contact start).

What it cuts
The ArcDroid does not cut on its own: your plasma cutter cuts, the ArcDroid guides it. Pick its amperage and the table tells you the thickness you will get cleanly.

Orders of magnitude for a pilot-arc cutter in continuous cutting. Your machine's exact figures are in its cut chart — we check them together on the phone.
Technical
ArcDroid fires the torch through a simple two-wire contact, like the trigger. On cutters with a CNC port, a dedicated cable does the job; on the others, it connects to the torch trigger.
To adjust torch height during the cut, ArcDroid reads the arc voltage divided by 20 or 15, available on the CNC outputs of most professional cutters. Without that output, the machine cuts at a fixed height after probing.
Pilot arc or touch start: compatible. High-frequency (HF) start: not compatible, the interference can damage the electronics. If in doubt about your model, call us before buying.
